Space and Time

Space and Time es una obra musical y audiovisual que explora la relación entre el tiempo, la permanencia y la pérdida de sincronía con el mundo.

La pieza se construye sobre paisajes mínimos y abstractos: un suelo agrietado que permanece inmóvil mientras el cielo, la luz y la materia se transforman a una velocidad extrema, como un time-lapse de días condensados en segundos. El entorno avanza sin pausa; el centro resiste.

Visualmente, el proyecto utiliza el paso acelerado del tiempo como lenguaje narrativo: nubes que corren, polvo que se desplaza, fragmentos del suelo que se mueven lentamente, creando una sensación de urgencia silenciosa. En contraste, los elementos centrales —el cuerpo, el instrumento, la materia— permanecen casi intactos, convirtiéndose en símbolo de identidad, memoria y presencia.

Musicalmente, Space and Time habla de la incompletud, de la distancia emocional entre quien sigue el ritmo y quien se queda atrás. Una reflexión íntima sobre cómo el tiempo no se detiene, incluso cuando nosotros sí lo hacemos.

Space and Time is a musical and audiovisual piece that explores the relationship between time, permanence, and being out of sync with the world.

The work unfolds within minimalist, abstract landscapes: a cracked surface that remains still while the sky, light, and matter shift at extreme speed, like a time-lapse compressing days into seconds. Everything moves forward relentlessly; the center remains.

Visually, the project uses accelerated time as a narrative language: racing clouds, drifting dust, subtle ground displacement — all creating a quiet sense of urgency. In contrast, the central elements — the body, the instrument, the matter — stay almost unchanged, becoming symbols of identity, memory, and presence.

Musically, Space and Time reflects on incompleteness and emotional distance — the tension between those who never miss a beat and those who fall behind. A contemplative piece about time continuing forward, even when we cannot.
